I love making lists. Call me a control freak but there is something soothing about ordering and categorizing things that begin as chaos. Mostly, I love making ‘To Do’ lists. You will rarely see me sitting around on my days off just vegging. I like to be productive and I know there is always something to do. To help with figuring it all out, I make lists.

I even break down my bullets into categories. For example, I would never put a blog chore and a cleaning chore under the same heading. They would deserve different categories such as ‘House’ and ‘Computer’. Grocery shopping would fall under ‘House’ but the actual grocery list would be on an entirely different piece of paper.

Think I’m weird? Try this….when I realize that I have accomplished something that I hadn’t put on my list in the first place I will write it on and immediately cross it off.

I know I am not alone. Yes, most people look at me cross-eyed when I try to explain how much satisfaction this gives me. However, I know that there are more like me, people who derive so much pleasure from sorting and ordering. One clue is to take a look at someone’s blog and check out how many categories, sub-categories, lists and cross-referencing that they have.

For those of you who get what I am talking about, I think we would fall under the category of ‘Mad Multitasker.’

well this must be hereditary or something
i do exactly the same thing
do you ever list items in order of purchasing
like at the mall you almost map your way?
as for something that is already done but not on the list yes i write it down and cross it right away
that only makes sense (to us)
now you have a list of your accomplished tasks
    correct?
the best way to be productive
    list away my girl!!!
