Have you ever ‘vanitied’ yourself? In geek-speak this is the term used when you Google your own name. I just did and found the most uplifting thing.

Maybe it was because I wasn’t expecting to find anything that I find THIS particular thing so amazing. Perhaps it just is amazing. You can decide for yourself.

I saw a link to a blog with the title I don’t suck anymore and in the paragraph there was a short sentence with my full name in bold. Now my name - Zoe Siskos - isn’t that common. This couldn’t be just a coincidence.

I clicked on the link and after a bit of investigating I came across a post that is about high-school volleyball (which I was very much involved in) but, alas, no mention of my name.

My quick-witted husband thought up the idea of hitting Ctrl + F (find) and voilà! My name appeared in a comment written by a girl named Kelly (sure…i knew a lot of Kellys).

Of course I left a comment (it has yet to be approved by the admin). I wonder though…how will she ever know I left a comment letting her know what is my name and asking where she went to school. I have e-mailed the admin girl hoping she can hook us up.

How crazy?! I am amazed at the blogging community and to tell you the truth, I am absolutely relieved it says something really nice. Not that I was ever a bully but you never know how your actions can affect people.

Then again it could be an entirely different Zoe Siskos. I’ll keep you updated.
