I wanted to get this blog up and running as soon as I could. First, I wanted it to be perfect. I even considered pre-writing entries so that I would have material to start with. I was planning and researching more than anything. I even took a trip with my friend to Chapters so that I could read Blogging for Dummies (Apparently they DO have Dummies books for every topic). The ONE thing I actually wanted to do, I wasn’t doing: writing for my blog. So I am throwing caution to the wind, and starting today. I will admit this loss of control is freaking me out a bit; I haven’t even received my Word Press manual in the mail yet. I know what you are thinking, “Gasp, how in the world will she know how to post her entries or even a podcast or two. Amateur.” Or maybe you’re thinking “what a dork.” Either way, I’m just going out on a limb here and figuring that my mis-adventures into the world of blogging will be just as entertaining, if not more, than the rest of my life. The only way I will ever become an expert at something is by doing it, much like the rest of life’s battles. I’m not going to be afraid of a few difficulties or setbacks. So… (and I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t be starting this sentence with that word) I hope you enjoyed my first entry.
