I have been inspired by a fellow blogger at the silent k to participate in Photo Thursdays – a word is posted and those who participate take a picture and write a post all in relation to that one word (or idea). It is all very creative and I want to get involved.
My obstacle, however, is that it really does seem too creative. My blog, although it may seem random at times, is an attempt to view current issues from a Public Relations, Communications and Marketing perspective. There is some structure and professionalism involved which may interfere with the vast creativity of this project. Also, as I was flipping through the past photo entries it didn’t really seem like my photos would make sense in that atmosphere.
But who am I kidding? Really….
1. How could I not fit in? This is the blogosphere, where ideas and comments run wild. The boundaries of reality meld into the complex binary of the virtual world.
2. Krista (the silent k) and her blog friends at Create A Connection seem really open and honest; I’m sure they would like to experience (and perhaps challenge) different perspectives.
3. I am bound by a tight schedule and Thursdays really are just no good. Instead, I will post mine on Tuesdays, with of course, Krista’s Thursday word. Comprende?
I begin my adventure into Photo Thursdays Tuesdays a tad tardy but, I suppose, better late than never.
