It’s amazing how many commercials I still see even though I don’t have cable. sidenote: Don’t gasp b/c I don’t have cable; I watch my tv, just not by using a tv.

Anyway, that’s not the point. I was sent this commercial, I don’t think it is actually on cable but it should be. And although I tend to slam Microsoft (in both my virtual and real lives) I want to remain objective and show alternative views of related topics. To that, I leave you this video:

I love this video. I remember it came out during Apple's transition from OS9 to OSX. It really "hit the nail on the head". Working as a professional film/video editor at the time I really had that feeling of "been there, done that" and so did the majority of the people I worked with. It's a really well done video and I applaud it still today, it brings back great memories of being up all night trying to convince my brand new G4 that we had a deadline to meet only to have it shutdown in the middle of a rendering job.
