Transform and roll out! July 8
I know that Transformers has been out for about a week now but I am still going to brag about going to see a special advanced screening a week prior. I won the tickets on a contest called ‘Wha Happened?’ on 102.1. If you want that story then shoot me an email.
Anyway the product placement is sick in this movie but it works. I mean, I don’t remember playing with a Pontiac Solstice when I was 8 but that character looks pretty sweet in the movie (doesn’t make me want the car though).
****SPOILER ALERT****
A great part of the movie was when all the machines started turning into Decepticons; it was funny to see Mountain Dew vending machines get up an attack people. But even more clever was this one - an XBox 360! How could we have all missed this?
I agree with Ryan Black, why wasn’t he an elite? At least they could have made it a bit more obvious. Or you know the little car that was in the back Optimus Prime’s rig as a toy? Maybe in the movie he could have had the Xbox…a little cheese? Well, so is using a Pontiac Solstice but that worked.
