Little Geeks. 100 Free PCs to Kids May 29
At the Mesh after party I bought this drink for charity. Of course, I totally forgot what the charity was (yes, I could zoom in the pic but just hadn’t gotten around to it). Well, wouldn’t you know I get an email from my friend Ben Lucier telling me about an upcoming event from the same charity which is called Little Geeks!
So what did my $9 go towards? Not only did I get a tasty fruity bevy but supporters of the charity help to give underprivileged kids refurbished PCs. Rawk!
Ben writes about an upcoming Little Geeks event in Toronto on his blog. If you know a kid that you think would benefit from this program I encourage you to register them. There are also a lot of other opportunities to get involved and support (I’m sure they don’t all involve drinking).
Good luck with the event Ben!

Nice, Zoe, nice!
(Personally, I’m not opposed to drinking for charity. I feel it’s my duty as a good citizen.)

Hey thanks for the post Zoe! How could you forget the name - we even had an orange drink to match the colour of our logo!
Next time I see you I’m going to get a colourful permanent marker and draw The Little Geeks logo on your forehead. That way, after a long night of socializing, our name will be the first thing you see in your mirror the morning after.
Seriously though, thanks again for the props… much appreciated!
