Yes, online romances are cheesy.

I’ve even said how I hate shared email addresses.

Yet, I’m still writing this post b/c for some reason, this story warmed my heart.

I’m writing this post because I know @helsinkiwinner and she is a lovely person. (and as Jesse Luna points out, she saves trees in a round-about way :) Our first meeting was in person but we truly got to know each other online, through twitter and email and facebook (sound familiar?)

Read their story, support their cause. Help bring two people come together.

    Thanks so much for your support. @helsinkiwinner and I have developed an amazing friendship via nontraditional means. We are hoping to spend some time in person getting to know each other better. And don't worry, I'm sure the story that we'd have to tell will be well worth the donations. :)
