Whew, that title is a mouthful.

I was contacted by Matchstick Inc., a PR company, to test out mascara from L’Oreal Paris. Lucky me, they sent me all of this stuff along with it (picture inset):

* 2 tubes of the mascara (photo only shows one)
* Liner Intense (liquid eyeliner)
* Wear Infinite (set of four eye shadow colours for smokey eyes)
* Carrying case
* Set of makeup brushes

This mascara has two sides to it (hence, the ‘double’). You put the white stuff on first, then the actual mascara. It claims that it makes your lashes 80% longer than without it. I think it costs about $15 for one tube. You can get a coupon for $5 off if you register at BeautyTubes.ca and use the promo code: “C4R1“.

I love the white stuff. The first time I tried a product like this was with Clinique. However, with Clinique you have to buy it separately and it costs about $17 for one tube. On top of the price for their mascara and you are spending a hefty amount for eye make up. But, it does work amazingly well.

So, does L’Oreal’s product work the same? Watch the video.

So, there’s your answer. Another sweet-ass feature of this product is how easy it is to remove. L’Oreal claims it curls around the lash, rather than painting it, so it comes off with water. I don’t care about how but yes, it works. (I thought I would save you the pain of watching me wash my face and just tell you).

As for the other products, I’ll fill you in when I use them.

  • First of all, Jamie's beard is great! Very thick, and ginger (as they say over in these parts of the world)! Second of all, your new blog look is great, well done, I look forward to your wednesday posts ( you are so organised!)

    Can't wait to see you Thursday!

  • How about this - I'll give you the second tube of mascara to try out for yourself?

    i think that is a good plan.
