James had this beard for a little over four months and as soon as the warm weather starts he got the urge to shave. Well, four months of dedication to something that is gone in five days…I just had to document it.

What is geocaching? It’s a mix of hiking and treasure hunting…and throw in the technology of GPS.
How did we get into it? We bought a Garmin GPS and from that they had info on geocaching (since you need a GPS to do it). I was mildly familiar with geochacing because of a former colleague of mine, but aside from him telling me it exists I didn’t delve into much further.
How do you get into it? This site has been pretty useful, Geocaching.com. They explain how things work, the history behind geocaching, a very cool story on the first one and even encourage good environmental behaviour with their “Cache In Trash Out” initiative.
