Seriously though, Stewart has a point with his video – Many people take this stuff too far and forget about REAL interactions. You know, the kind that exists offline?

Am I sounding like a hypocrite? That’s probably because you have never met me. I’m much more awesome in real life. I also swear a lot more (but that’s not what makes me awesome). Yes, I love twitter, and blogging and fun, random videos…but when I’m hanging out with real people I don’t shove my face in my cell phone.

Microsoft Word Called Me a “Slag”

Harsh? Yes, Rude? Extremely. But I did say that I want to punch it in the face. Still…it’s pretty funny.

I’m not the only one to get berated. He did threaten one girl that he was going to rape her, and that’s NOT funny at all.

All kidding aside, this has got to be one of the biggest examples of brand misrepresentation I have ever seen. I wonder what the real Microsoft is going to think about this and how they will respond.

It’s pretty amazing that someone is taking the time to seek out all MS word insulters and Tweet the crap out of them.

Yes, online romances are cheesy.

I’ve even said how I hate shared email addresses.

Yet, I’m still writing this post b/c for some reason, this story warmed my heart.

I’m writing this post because I know @helsinkiwinner and she is a lovely person. (and as Jesse Luna points out, she saves trees in a round-about way :) Our first meeting was in person but we truly got to know each other online, through twitter and email and facebook (sound familiar?)

Read their story, support their cause. Help bring two people come together.

p.s. They also share a blog and it has “Poopstick” in the title! C’mon, you have to donate just because of that!
